Through divine appointment The Butterfly Foundation had the opportunity to meet Rusty Labuschagne and hear his testimony of living in a Zimbabwean jail for 10 years for a crime he did not commit. We decided that his story of forgiveness, gratitude and freedom should not stay behind bars and therefore arranged an event for people from all backgrounds to attend to hear his testimony. Through this we felt that God spoke through him into the hearts of our target audience to go do some introspection of their own lives and what they should be thankful for, who they should forgive and how to enjoy freedom.
