The Kingdom Seed Conference was birthed out of a German’s heart who after visiting South Africa for the first time, was compelled to respond to the call of God to step out in faith and host a tented conference. Retreat has a reputation for being a gang-ridden, poverty-stricken area in Cape Town which is why this conference was such a radical display of the love of Jesus. Throughout the conference nearly 1000 people gathered in a tent to worship God, to pray and be prayed for, to share testimonies and listen to speakers from all over the world. During the day time food was handed out to 500 children in the community, making the message of Jesus practical in every way. Not only was the love of Jesus experienced during this conference, but it was also seen as people from different walks of life were openly embraced and welcomed to receive all that God has for them.
