One Village NPO identified the need to run a training program aimed specifically at lower income and less fortunate women in the Humansdorp area to provide them with tools, skills and knowledge for their own development and growth and in so doing, developing their communities. Ladies who complete the program can apply the tools, skills and knowledge gained immediately.

We believe that there is a need for this program in the community, especially for women to realize their value and worth – not only in their communities, but also their value and worth to the Lord and that each woman has received gifts, talents and abilities that they can use to honor the Lord. The aim of this program is to instill and establish a Godly foundation and Godly outlook on femininity and equipping women with knowledge, tools and skills to embrace the future, deal with challenges, live a Godly, righteous life that honor’s the Lord and pursue wisdom and excellence in all they do. The scripture for the program is Proverbs 31:10-31 and during the program and specific modules covered, we will be able to delve into the intricacies of what being a Proverbs 31 woman entails. When their value and worth has been established, this will impact their families and in turn, the communities within which they live.
