Global Leadership Academy is a high school situated in Jeffreys Bay, in the Eastern Cape. GLA aims to provide quality education through an innovative learning environment, with firm core values, where young people can grow into Christian leaders who impact society. At the end of 2018 they needed 2 additional classrooms to accommodate the student intake of 2019. The “Classrooms 4 Christmas” campaign was launched in an attempt to raise funds for the construction of the classrooms. The Butterfly Foundation, through generous contributions of their network, responded to the call and sponsored an entire classroom! The Eastern Cape has the lowest average matric rate in the country. Yet GLA has consistently scored a 100% pass rate in the final school year for the past 5 years. We are excited to partner with GLA in raising the future generation of leaders of South Africa!
