This special appreciation event was specifically planned to treat teachers and to thank them for the incredibly important role they play in raising up the next generation of South Africans. The event also included worship, to thank God for His favour upon their lives and guiding the teachers to work with the next generation. Worship was followed by the phenomenal speaker Dr Deon Els who gave a powerful message, focusing on the importance of the big calling teachers have over their lives and honouring them for the hard work teachers put in. A special thank you we received from the organiser of the event, Carmen Botha, said, “Thank you Butterfly Foundation for blessing us with funds. 8 August wouldn’t have been possible without your funds, thank you for trusting us and hearing God’s voice. Thank you for believing in the teachers of South Africa and investing in them. It is people like you that make the future look bright and beautiful.”
