This evening is about celebrating the youth for their commitment, dedication and spiritual growth throughout the year. The Giant Slayers Youth Ministries is a youth ministry in Hanover Park, Cape Town. Almost 60% of the young people in their youth come from broken families where they are either staying with their grandparents or other family members because their parents are on drugs, into gangsterism or in prison. At Giant Slayers they therefore want to expose their young people to a whole new world and allow them to dream and see life from a whole different perspective.
So this Gala Event was not just about getting together, eating and celebrating but it was about transforming mindsets and instilling hope into the hearts of these young people and reaffirm that nothing is impossible and that your circumstances doesn’t define you! Well done #GS2022 on making this happen and for impacting the lives of so many young people!
