The spiritual formation program at MTAT is designed to invest in the holistic development of educators, recognizing that their influence extends beyond academic instruction to the moral and spiritual shaping of young lives. Our program seeks to:
Address Deep Life Questions: By integrating a biblical worldview, we encourage educators to guide students in exploring the profound questions of meaning, purpose, and ethical living.
Promote Experiential Learning: Following Jesus’ model of servant leadership, our program emphasizes practical outreach and community engagement, facilitating real-world applications of faith and compassion.
Recognizing the diverse spiritual backgrounds of our applicants, our approach is intentionally inclusive, respecting everyone’s journey while providing opportunities to explore and grow in faith. We disciple “toward the cross” for those new to Christian teachings and “from beyond the cross” for those maturing in their faith, facilitating a respectful and inclusive environment that honors where each intern is on their spiritual path.
